Imagine for a second that you could have everything in a band. Americana, rock & roll, punk, pop. Something you wanted to sing with, and dance to. But something equally good for a road trip or barbecue in the back yard. For 2023 we're bringing a Minneapolis staple to the shores of Lake Minnetonka. Nato & BDB are local legends, and Nato has the chops to rock your socks off. Literally.
"Imagine if the Hold Steady were jamming with Thin Lizzy and Springsteen and The E. St Band. That’d be the best band in the world, right? Brother, put '[Nato Coles and the Blue Diamond Band]' on and tell me I am lying. The verses are of an itinerant rock n roll band, but in the chorus Coles sings: 'the sound of the night, anything that’s rock n roll’s alright.' That’s this [band]. "

A little retro Bruce Springsteen feeling and oh so full of pure rock & roll energy, this opening track hit the spot and I found myself completely captivated.
